It's a new year! The chronicle of 2007 begins...

Inspired by my friend Brian, I've decided to keep a daily journal of my personal life and things that I find interesting. Here goes...

Today is the last day of my holiday vacation. I've spent the last few days at home doing very little - which is so nice for a change. I've watched a lot of TV. Being a holiday week, several of the cable networks have been running marathons of popular TV series. As a result I was able to catch up on Smallville and Friday Night Lights - two very good shows.

Today's discoveries:
- Actiontastic:

Actiontastic aims to be a lean mean action contextifying machine. The software is inspired by David Allen’s book, Getting Things Done.
- Vienna: Free RSS reader for Mac OS X
- Yojimbo: A note-taking and information organizing tool.
Yojimbo makes keeping all the small (or even large) bits of information that pour in every day organized and accessible. It’s so simple, there is no learning curve. Yojimbo’s mechanism for collecting, storing and finding information is so natural and effortless, it will change your life—without changing the way you work.
